
Robert Todd, Jr. is a highly skilled low brass specialist based in the greater Los Angeles area. In addition to his work as an arranger and performer, he serves as a low brass instructor at multiple high schools in the Santa Clarita and Arcadia regions.
As the co-founder and band leader of the successful polka group Die Sauerkrauts, Robert highlights his expertise on the tuba. His versatility extends across various ensembles, including playing sousaphone with the Wildfire Brass Band, contrabass trombone with the UCLA Video Game Ensemble, and bass trombone with the John Daversa Band, along with performances in numerous other groups throughout Los Angeles.
Robert holds a Bachelor of Music degree from California State University, Fullerton, where he studied under renowned professor Robert Sanders. In his spare time, he creates YouTube content featuring performances on a variety of low brass instruments, showcasing both his original arrangements and those of his colleagues.
