
Over the past 25 years tuba performer Tim Hoffman has been heard in venues across the United States and northern Europe. Performance venues have included the Horse Guards Parade Whitehall and The Guards Chapel at Wellington Barracks in the UK, live television broadcasts from Serbia, Slovenia, numerous performances across Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, and France, to include Memorial Day performances at dozens of U.S. cemeteries such as Normandy, Meuse-Argonne, Oise-Aisne, and Suresnes American Cemetery and Memorial. Onstage Mr. Hoffman has been humbled to perform with many talented ensembles and musicians, such as the U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command band, the United States Army Band and Chorus Europe, the 4th Infantry Band and Chorus Europe the West Virginia Symphony Orchestra, Virginia Symphony Orchestra, Imperial Symphony Orchestra, London Symphony Orchestra, Count Basie Orchestra, Her Majesty's Combined Household Guard Bands, and the Coldstream Guard Band. He has been honored to have worked with many distinguished conductors, such as Jerry Jenkins, Michael Haithcock, Dr. James Croft, Joseph Kreines, Lt. Colonel Beth Steele, Colonel Tom Rotondi, Lt. Colonel Derrick Shaw, Lt. Colonel Todd Addison and Graham Owen Jones. As an educator Mr. Hoffman has taught hundreds of brass students both locally in Colorado and around the world. Mr. Hoffman has been a clinician with various marching band organizations, such as Christopher Newport Universities Marching Band, Plymouth Canton Educational Park Band Programs, and Magic of Orlando Drum and Bugle Corp. Mr.Hoffman’s teachers include Robert Tucci, Jay Hunsberger, Marty Erickson, Chester Schmitz, Larry Burke, Dr. Brian Brink and Dennis Wilson. Previously he had served as an artist clinician for Custom Music Company. He is the Founder and Executive Director of the Restoration Brass Ensemble and Nexus Brass Quintet. Mr. Hoffman is a lecturer of Tuba at University of Colorado Colorado Springs and plays Eb Tuba with the Pikes Peak Brass Band in Colorado Springs. Mr. Hoffman is also a Registered Yoga Teacher and a current student at Colorado Institute of Massage Therapy in Colorado Springs. Mr. Hoffman plays the Eastman EBE853 and is passionate about the horn and is constantly amazed at the wonderful tubas Chuck Kerrigan and the Eastman team are creating.
